Only three weeks to go until the 6th Annual International, Psychiatric Pharmacy Conference of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy, and the latest version of the conference programme is now available: CMHP Conference programme 2015 version 3.7
There is a strong cast of speakers, with experts in mental health from across the world. Topics are varied and are set to give a fascinating insight into the latest thinking about mental health and role of medicines in the treatment of mental health conditions.
The Saturday morning practice sessions will no doubt be a highlight, and we also look forward to talks from colleagues from Sweden and Australia alongside other mental health experts. The conference sessions cover a number of themes from immigration and mental health, to the life threatening side effects of antipsychotics; from the role of community pharmacy supporting mental health consumers and carers, to reducing the need for restrictive interventions [in mental health settings].
The conference programme also includes satellite symposium, special interest discussions, opportunities for networking, the medical and posters exhibition and getting to know your pharmacy colleagues in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
