Each year the College allocates funding to support the education of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in mental health.
Successful candidates receive up to £500 towards their education. In the past, the bursary has been awarded to support Psych 1 and Psych 2 attendance, and postgraduate certificates, diplomas, MSc degrees or PhDs with a significant focus on mental health. The bursary can be paid directly to you (if you are self-funding) or to your employer.
To qualify for an education bursary you must be:
- a current member of the CMHP
- a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- undertaking studies to further your skills and knowledge in mental health (either currently underway at time of submission or planned to commence within the next 12 months).
Bursaries will be awarded to support course fees with a maximum of one bursary application per academic year of the course. If you are requesting a bursary for a course that you have previously completed, you will be asked to provide evidence of the payments that you have made.
