Congratulations to Priti Ved and Jules Haste who successfully recredentialed with the College recently.
Priti Ved is Deputy Chief Pharmacist at the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
The reviewer highlighted Priti’s work on the introduction of the three community drug charts, bringing a lot of different services together to use a single chart as most impressive.
When asked to reflect on her role, Priti comments that she finds working across the directorate she supports - and wider - to deliver service improvement and new ways of working rewarding. She also values seeing projects come to fruition and deliver benefits. She enjoys the line management and supervisory element of her role where she is able to support individuals to develop themselves and the quality of input they deliver to services.
Priti says “I am proud to be a credentialed member and value the recognition this brings. The re-credentialing process has reminded and allowed me to reflect on my achievements and shortcomings both as a clinician and in my leadership role. It gives me the confidence to move forward in my daily work.”
Jules Haste is Principal Pharmacist (West Sussex) at the Sussex Partnership Foundation NHS Trust.
Jules was complimented on her impressive work at a national level with the British Association of Psychopharmacology guidelines, National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care and Low Secure Units (NAPICU) and Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) and partnership working locally on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
Reflecting on her role, Jules comments that the pandemic highlighted the pharmacy team’s adaptability and the crucial role they play. She says: "It has been a privilege and pleasure to work not only with my trust on the vaccine program, but also with the local acute trust, this enhanced good relationships and joint working in promoting good mental health and the wellbeing of our patients, staff and carers. It has made me proud to be a pharmacy professional."
She also loves teaching and education, and being a credentialed member of CMHP means a great deal for her. She says, "recredentialing gave me the time to reflect on my previous work, the lessons I have learnt and my future plans to continue to promote the best care for our patients."
Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years. Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
