CMHP invites you to showcase your work at the annual CMHP conference which will be held from 12-14 October at the IMAGO Loughborough.
Abstracts are invited for both posters and oral presentations. The poster sessions are an excellent opportunity to present your innovations, initiatives and research – to share best practice and learn from each other. There is an impressive range of entries each year but the conference remains a supportive environment to present in for those considering presenting a poster for the first time.
The categories for poster submission are:
- Clinical audit
- Service development/evaluation
- Quality improvement – new category for 2018
- Original research
- Other
Oral presentations are delivered as 15-minute talks by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on research or practice-related projects, usually as part of the Saturday morning plenary session at conference.
Prizes will be awarded for the best poster and runner up in each category, and for the best and runner up oral presentation.
We are delighted to announce that for the first time all prize winning abstracts will be published online in the prestigious Journal of Psychopharmacology (SAGE publications).
Please be aware of some significant changes in the submission process this year. We are excited to move to an entirely electronic submissions process, using Oxford Abstracts.
Please make sure that you follow the new guidance for the submission of carefully. The details can be found via the CMHP conference page, including a link to the Oxford Abstracts system (also available here: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/565/submission).
In a change to previous years, we will be shortlisting poster abstracts for awards in advance so that only those shortlisted will be formally marked at the conference.
Closing date for receipt of applications is 30 June 2018.
