Free membership for students

Pharmacy students are being offered free membership of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy.

Students wishing to take up this opportunity should complete the form at: https://www.cmhp.org.uk/membership/register

Becoming a member will give you insight into the nature of a career in mental health pharmacy. You will be able to access a range of documents in our members' area of the website, receive our quarterly e-newsletter Psych Bites, and join our Yahoo discussion group with wide ranging topics relating to medicines and their side effects, support provided to individual patients, Trust policies on medicines management, national mental health policy and developments in the pharmaceutical sector.

Our members are passionate about the service they provide their patients.

Andrew Down, course tutor on our Psych 1 course and Deputy Chief Pharmacist at Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust sums up the feelings of many of our members: "working with an individual and being part of helping them to reach a point in their life where they can live more freely and have more value in their own life is the most rewarding job I could ever hope to have."

Your free membership will expire the March after you complete your studies, after which point you will need to pay the renewing members fee (currently £50) to continue your membership of the College.
