The conference for October's international conference has been updated, with two more eminent pharmacists confirmed as session chairs.

CMHP is delighted to announce that Peter Pratt and Dr Pat Oakley will be adding to the stellar line up, chairing sessions on Friday and Sunday respectively. Peter will also be adding to the depth of the programme with his session on Rapid Tranquillisation and the NICE Violence and Aggression Clinical Guideline.

  • Dr Pat Oakley, of Practices Made Perfect Ltd has 30 years health and public service experience. She is based at King’s College, London University, for a workforce research programme for policy-makers. At King's College she has worked extensively with Policy-makers, Board Directors and Senior Staff, and with clinical and specialist practitioners, in developing their strategic management approaches for service changes and developing human resource management.

  • Peter Pratt is the Chief Pharmacist for Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust.  He has been a specialist pharmacist in psychiatry for over 25 years, and is the former chairman of the United Kingdom Psychiatric Pharmacy Group and is a Fellow of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy.
